... the Government is shutting down offices and schools until mid November and suggests companies to do the same. I am still going to the office like a milk cow to the carussell.... would love to leave for an island and wait for the flood to go by but have to deliver my biggest piece of work for this year next Monday.

The fashion correspondend in the weekly BKK magazine last week still wrote sarcastically "welcome you soggy people who floated downriver, welcome to Bangkok! We are really touched by what you've done for us, na ka, letting your huts flood and wagons fill with mud so we could keep our Manolos dry..."
will see what she is writing this Friday, now that her Manolos might get wet, if not stored safely or evacuated to a resort in Phuket.
it is getting scary, the streets get empty and it seems that Thai people even stop shopping....
